"Solid SEO Tools, Just a Little Basic"
I’d say it’s easy to use overall, and it does the job for basic SEO work. That said, the reports feel a bit too light for my taste. They’re fine if you just need a quick overview, but I was hoping for deeper insights and more detail.

"App integrations were more frustrating than helpful"
I tried connecting a few apps to my Wix site and it ended up being way more annoying than I expected. Some of them wouldn’t sync properly, and others needed all these extra steps that weren’t clear. When I reached out for help, support basically just sent me generic help articles, which made me feel dismissed. I was hoping for an actual solution, but it mostly felt like I was on my own. Not really worth the hassle for me

"Pretty secure, even if it tests my patience sometimes"
I’ve been using Wix for my small site for a while now, the security side feels solid. The login alerts are useful, and I do like having 2-step verification turned on, because apparently peace of mind now comes with extra codes.
There was one time it made me verify myself again when I was just trying to get in quickly, which was totally fine. Completely fine. Not irritating at all. I mean, I’d rather deal with that than have someone else poking around my account.
Overall, I feel safe keeping my site on Wix. It’s not perfect, and it can be a little annoying here and there, but it does what I need it to do. I’d give it 4 stars
"I tried building a basic..."
I tried building a basic site on Wix, the editor started driving me nuts. At first it seems like you can just drag things around and make it look how you want, but then items snap into weird spots or refuse to line up right. Like, give me a break, I’m just trying to move a button a little bit.
What really annoyed me was trying to change the layout later. Once I’d made a few choices, it felt like I was kind of stuck with them unless I wanted to redo a bunch of stuff. It’s fine if you stick to the template exactly, but it didn’t feel flexible enough for me.

"Works fine for my little shop, mostly"
I’ve been using it for my small online shop and it’s easy to get around. Setting things up didn’t take much effort, which was a relief. There are a few limits that can be annoying sometimes, not gonna lie, but for what I need right now it does the job well. Overall I’m happy with it, though I do wish it had a bit more flexibility.

"I used Wix to build my site..."
I used Wix to build my site and it wasnt too hard. I got everything up without stressing much, which was nice. A few things took some clicking around before I found what I needed, but overall its been easy to use.

"So Many Templates, Somehow All the Same"
I tried a handful of templates, and wow, what a thrilling variety of slightly different versions of the same old, stiff design. It was hard to make anything feel like it actually belonged to me. Unless “generic brochure from 2012” was the vibe, I guess.

"Good builder but gets pricey fast"
Wix was easy for me to figure out, and I got my small site looking decent without having to hire anyone or ask for help. The templates look nice, and moving things around or changing text was simple enough, so I do think its good for beginners.
That said, the cost starts creeping up once you want extra features, remove ads, or add certain apps. Some of those paid add ons stack up faster than I expected. Its fine if you mostly want convenience, but I wouldnt call it the cheapest option.

"Wait, why am I still being charged?"
I canceled my plan and thought that was it, but then I checked my account the next month and saw another charge. Frustrating, especially when I reacted right away thinking, “Seriously?” Canceling shouldn’t be this hard...

"DO NOT USE WIX"
Negative experience with WIX. Scammed on “Premium” renewal. After rejected by my bank they used my Pay Pal Credit account without my knowledge or consent. Refused to pay. Reported them to BBB. Agreed to pay, 2 months later no word and because its a Credit account charged interest. Did not know this was not an American company as I dug deeper. Any company that chooses quick deceptive $$$ rather than focus on customer satisfaction should not be trusted.

"I signed up for Wix thinking my site..."
I signed up for Wix thinking my site would be reliable and easy to manage, but it feels like a bit of a bait and switch. My site randomly goes down, and even when it’s technically up, pages load painfully slow way too often. Support keeps telling me everything looks fine on their end, but that doesn’t help when customers are messaging me saying they can’t access the site. It’s been really frustrating and not at all what I expected.

"Pricing was kinda confusing!!!"
I signed up thinking I had a decent idea of the cost, but then extra charges started showing up after the fact!!! It would’ve been way better if everything was made clearer upfront!!!

"Not worth the hassle for email marketing"
I gave Wix’s email marketing tools a try, it was frustrating. I’ve used a few other email platforms in the past, so I wasn’t expecting anything too complicated, but the editor felt slow, my contacts didn’t always sync properly, and the reporting was harder to make sense of than it should’ve been. A couple of emails looked totally fine in the preview, then showed up weird after sending. For the price, I really expected a smoother experience. It ended up feeling like I spent more time fixing issues than actually doing any marketing...

"Mobile version kept making me crazy"
I made my site on Wix and on desktop it looked okay, like I was happy enough with it. But then I opened it on my phone and it was just all weird. Text was sliding to places I did not want, buttons were sitting too close together, and some parts looked like they forgot where to line up.
I kept going back in, fixing one thing, then checking my phone, then going back again. It was this annoying little loop. And the bad part was, when I fixed something small, another thing would get messed up, which felt very not helpful.
For a website builder, I thought the phone version would be more simple than that. Since everybody checks websites on their phone now, it seems like that should be the easy part, or at least not this much of a headache.

"A horrible experience for me"
WIx's platform seems so wonderful at first, but as soon as you get your site up and running you eventually notice glitch after glitch after glitch. Customer support is fine unless you experience a glitch they can't fix, then they basically ignore you.
My social share images for my blog posts kept disappearing, as did the title tags to my posts. Which means every time I or anyone else shared a post on social media, there was no image and no information about what was being shared. This started happening over six months ago, and they still can't fix the problem.
This makes my blog essentially dead in the water. All the time and effort I have spent building my blog have been for nothing because of Wix glitches; no posts can be shared.
Support does absolutely nothing to help. They apologize. They say they are investigating the issue, then tell me to "manage my expectations" because they may not be able to resolve it.
So, why don't I just move to another company? Because my entire site is part of their proprietary system. Unless I can pay a developer to completely recreate my site and put it on a new server, I'm literally held hostage by Wix. They know this, and I'm sure that's why they don't really care to help me.
Please don't use Wix. It will bite you in the end if you do!

"BUGGY"
I was unwise enough to choose Wix as my platform because it seemed so all-inclusive and easy to use. The problem is that their platform is super buggy. My latest issue has occurred repeatedly on my blog. ALL my social post images have completely disappeared for each blog post. This happened several months ago. I have to go back and recreate each one, and that takes me hours. Support hasn’t done much beyond telling me they can’t reproduce the problem, so it’s not happening. They have me held hostage because in order to leave WIX. I will have to pay a Web developer thousands of dollars to recreate my site and move it off Wix because of its proprietary platform. So I’m stuck with this expensive junkie platform that doesn’t work half the time. I’m very upset and very disappointed.
"Good builder, but the migration felt a bit limited"
Overall it’s a good builder and I’ve had a smooth time using it, the migration part was a little limited compared to what I was hoping for but it still worked fine and got the job done

"Freezing issue felt totally preventable"
The editor kept freezing on me, and I reached out to support hoping for a quick fix. Unfortunately, the troubleshooting didn’t really go anywhere and the problem never got resolved. It felt like something that should’ve been preventable with better testing or clearer support steps

"Super easy to make my site feel like mine"
I’ve been using Wix for my small website, and the customization is probably my favorite part. I can move things around, switch up fonts, colors, and sections without feeling totally lost. A few settings did take me a little while to find, though, did anyone else run into that too? Overall, it’s been simple, and my site finally looks the way I pictured it

"Site literally runs smooth most days"
My wix site loads quickly, and it doesn’t freeze up when I’m editing pages, which I really appreciate. I had one tiny slow moment, but the overall performance has been literally really solid for me.
